Services provided by Austin Amplifier include but are not limited to: Instrument amplifier sales, rental, recycling and repair Amplifier Sales: Austin Amplifier buys and restores used amplifiers for sale in the store. Austin Amplifier allows the consignment of customer amps in select situations. Austin Amplifier will offer a reasonable warranty on amplifiers purchased from us, but cannot guarantee used equipment. All amplifier sales are "as is". We encourage each customer to test and fully understand the condition of any used gear they purchase from us. We will take the time to set up and demonstrate the amplifier for you, or you can test it to your satisfaction in house. Amplifier Rental: Austin Amplifier has vintage equipment for rental. We use this gear to help our customers through in a pinch and to provide recording musicians unique sounds for their special recording Amplifier Recycling: Austin Amplifier will collect, and in some cases purchase, broken amplifiers and audio equipment for recycling. Our intention is to keep amplifiers and their reusable materials, out of our Austin landfill. We love this city and want to keep it green, we don't need amps in the dump if we can help it Amplifier Repair: Understanding that each repair job comes with different goals, both financial and musical, we will work with our customer to understand these goals and to facilitate the necessary repair as directed by the customer. We charge a reasonable bench fee on each item received to diagnose and develop a plan for that item. Many customers will bring in their amp with specific repairs in mind. We will quickly execute those repairs and contact them when it is done. We understand budget constraints and encourage our customers to evaluate amplifier recycling. If you have a specific repair cost limit, or require a detailed quote, please let us know when you drop off the item. We will work with you We understand timing issues as well and encourage our customers to be up front with their scheduling needs. We ask for a week or two if we are busy and to allow for ordering parts if needed. If you are in a rush, we can usually accommodate your needs if we have the parts in house. We do charge a higher rate and will pass through any expedited shipping fees if applicable
